Squeeze Stile is getting there!

I've been somewhat slow with updating this one, and with finishing the drawing. This is still quite a way off as there is quite a bit of grass at the bottom, a tree to the right and some birds to throw in to the mix.

So far, I have only worked on this piece at shows and have gotten quite a bit of attention from the public in doing so, especially the negative drawing (which I used for some of the moss and blades of grass). I have a show this weekend, so that may get me a little close to completion. We'll see...

Squeezing out a Squeeze Stile

This squeeze stile is the second in a series of North Yorkshire stile drawings I have planned. This one sees a squeeze stile within a dry stone wall. This type of stile is quite common in the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria. This particular stile is from a recent walk in the Yorkshire Dales from West Burton to Aysgarth. For those not familiar with the area the Aysgarth Falls are the ones used in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (the scene where Kevin Costner meets and fights Little John).
This shows about a third of the entire piece, so there is quite a bit of stone left to get through here.
