I am a self-taught graphite pencil artist specialising in portraits of rural scenery, farm animals, dogs and landmarks. I have never had any formal art training, and have acquired the methods I use through trial and error.
Having been greatly influenced by celebrity charcoal artist Gary Saderup, I began my commercial art career drawing celebrity portraits.
I was approached by Kadinsky Art with an offer to join them as one of their celebrity artists. Kadinsky Art publishes prints of my celebrity portraits across the UK, Europe and the US.
My initial animal work was heavily influenced by Mike Sibley’s incredibly detailed dog drawings. I am about to release my first book, Drawing Made Easy: Dogs and Puppies through Walter Foster Publishing.
